Fatal Crash Santiago Canyon Road in Silverado and Ridgetop Road

One Killed, One Injured in Silverado Collision

SILVERADO, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2023) — A fatal crash happened Wednesday morning on Santiago Canyon Road and Ridgetop Road in Silverado.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:38 a.m. on Nov. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a Kia and a Honda Pilot SUV were involved in a collision due to unknown circumstances.

Two people were trapped in one of the vehicles and one was transported to Mission Hospital in unknown condition. A second person sustained fatal injuries and died following the crash.

Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Santiago Canyon Road.
