Fatal Crash Semi-Truck, Jeep on Hesperia Road In Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Oct.9, 2026) — A driver in a Jeep Compass died early Friday morning in a head-on collision with a Double Eagle semi-truck on Hesperia Road in Victorville.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Oct. 9th, 2026, just south of Ottawa Street, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. The man driving the white 2019 Jeep reportedly died at the scene of the crash; his SUV was destroyed. The truck driver survived the collision without any immediate injuries, but the semi-truck had moderate front-end damage.

The cause of the crash will be determined following an investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
