2-Vehicle Head-on Crash State Route 104
HERALD, Calif. (August 17, 2023) — A fatal head-on crash occurred around 5:19 a.m. on Twin Cities Road (State Route 104) at Clay Station Road in Sacramento County.
The deadly crash occurred around 5:19 a.m. on August 17th in the census designated area of Herald, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two motorists were involved and one of them overturned during the collision in the eastbound lanes of SR-104.
Paramedics responded to help those involved, but sadly one person died at the scene. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner responded and will identify the person after notifying family members.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Twin Cities Road in Herald.
