Fiery Fatal Crash on Wendling Street in Navarro
NAVARRO, Calif. (May 4, 2018) — At least one person died early Friday morning when a vehicle crashed into trees and caught on fire at 255 Wendling Street in front of the Navarro General Store, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash took place about 3:55 a.m. Firefighters responded to help those in the vehicle, but the occupant or occupants were burned beyond recognition, the CHP report stated.
Police are unable to identify those in the vehicle due to the vehicle being completely engulfed in flames.
The crash remains under investigation.
