SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2023) — A fatal crash occurred Monday morning on Yosemite Avenue also known as State Route 120 in the Alba area, just east of Escalon.
The collision occurred about 5:39 a.m. on Jan. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one vehicle crashed due to unknown circumstances at the intersection near Parks Wholesale Nursery.
One vehicle was on the right shoulder and another pulled over following the collision. It’s unknown at this time how many vehicles are involved.
The San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to investigate what happened, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Joaquin County fatal crash on Yosemite Avenue.
