1 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash at Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive
SEAL BEACH, CA (November 5, 2021) – A DUI crash killed one person and injured two others at Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:40 p.m.
Police said the incident happened when two vehicles collided in Seal Beach on November 4. They crashed at the intersection of Seal Beach Boulevard and St. Andrews Drive.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, near the Leisure World retirement community. Both drivers and a passenger ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
2 Vehicles Collide
Medical personnel then rushed all three patients to a hospital, where a woman driving one car died. The other motorist, a man, sustained minor injuries upon impact.
The passenger survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police determined that the male driver was under the influence when he hit the other car. They soon arrested him for DUI and manslaughter.
Officers forced the area of Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive to shut down for hours following the crash. The fatal wreck is still under investigation.
