Car Crashes Over Embankment on Dehesa Road
EL CAJON, Calif. (April 1, 2022) — A driver in a black sedan went off the road and down an embankment in the on Dehesa Road near Sycuan Summit Road.
The deadly crash happened about 8:28 a.m. on Friday, April 1st in the 3500 block of Dehesa Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision.
Two people were in the vehicle and at least one person died in the crash. A good Samaritan helped free at least one from the vehicle. Paramedics responded and transported one person by ambulance to Sharp Memorial.
There are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working on the cause of the crash and liability.
