EL CAJON, Calif. (July 20, 2020) – A man crossing an El Cajon intersection died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday afternoon at North Second Street and East Madison Avenue.

The El Cajon Police Department reported the fatal accident at around 3:32 p.m.

The man is believed to have been crossing the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by an oncoming southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck. The pickup truck’s driver had a green light when the crash took place.
