Woman Struck, Killed on Waterman Blvd., in Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2024) — A fatal Fairfield pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning on Waterman Boulevard near Capitola Way and Barbour Drive.
The deadly crash occurred at 8:29 a.m. on Sept. 25th, according to the Fairfield Police Department and a report by KCRA 3 News.
It’s unknown what led up to the pedestrian accident, but the woman suffered major injuries and died following the collision.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and remained at the scene where they were questioned by investigators.
Police closed down Waterman Boulevard between Capitola Way and Barbour Drive.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
