Deadly Crash Involving Jeep and Big Rig Truck
FONTANA, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2024) — A fatal crash in Fontana happened Sunday at Whittram Avenue and Calabash Avenue in San Bernardino County.
The drivers of a Jeep and a semi-tractor trailer truck were involved in the collision at 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the Jeep crashed underneath the big rig truck’s trailer.
Paramedics responded and confirmed at least one person dead from the Jeep.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the Fontana crash on Whittram Avenue.
