Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle Slover Avenue
FONTANA, Calif. (August 11, 2021) — A fatal Fontana pedestrian accident happened Monday night on Slover Avenue.
The traffic accident happened about 6:40 p.m. on August 9th in the 14000 block of Slover Avenue in Fontana, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The Fontana Police Department sent police officers to the scene after someone called 911 to report the collision.
A driver struck the man due to unknown circumstances. Police located the male pedestrian on scene, but sadly his injuries were too severe.
He died at the scene about 6:48 p.m. despite efforts by arriving paramedics.
Witnesses are urged to contact the Fontana Police Department.
