Deadly Crash Involving Semi-Truck, Car on Highway 92

Fatal Foster City Crash Highway 92, San Mateo Bridge FOSTER CITY, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2022) — A fatal Foster City crash happened Friday morning on the westbound state Route Highway 92, just east of the San Mateo Bridge.

The crash occurred about 9:47 a.m. on August 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a semi-truck and a gray Ford Fusion sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. The car suffered major damage in the collision.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
