Bicycle Rider Struck, Killed in Car Accident in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (July 11, 2022) — A fatal Fresno bicycle accident happened early Monday morning at East Jensen Avenue and South De Wolf Avenue.
The collision occurred about 3:44 a.m. on Monday, July 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The cyclist went down in the roadway at the intersection, the report said. Authorities closed down the eastbound lanes of Jensen Avenue due to the crash.
Deadly Crash in Fresno
Meanwhile, the driver in the vehicle, possibly a Chrysler 300, stopped and is cooperating with the police investigation. The report did not provide any further details about the driver or the bicyclist.
Finally, the cause of the bicycle versus car crash and liability is unknown at this time.
Investigators continue to work on the case to determine fault for the bicycle accident on Jensen Avenue.
