Deadly Bicycle Accident on Bullard Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2022) — A fatal Fresno bicycle accident happened Thursday morning on Bullard Avenue between Cedar Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
The collision occurred about before 8 a.m. on Oct. 20th, according to Fox 26 News.
A driver in a dark-colored pickup truck struck the bicyclist as both traveled eastbound on Bullard Avenue.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man in his 30s to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not identified the victim, but they believe he is a student at Fresno State University.
The driver in the pickup truck stopped and is cooperating with investigators.
Police closed down Bullard Avenue between Chestnut and Cedar Avenue after the crash. They do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision.
Finally, the fatal bicycle accident on Bullard Avenue remains under investigation.
