Fatal Fresno Crash on Highway 99 near Olive Avenue
One Killed in Car Accident on Highway 99
FRESNO, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2023) — One person died early Monday morning in a fatal crash on Highway 99 near Olive Avenue in west central Fresno.
The deadly, two-vehicle collision occurred just after 2 a.m. on Dec. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the two vehicles wound up crashed in the center divider. Meanwhile, the second vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into a ponding basin, according to ABC 30 News.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the death of one person, but it’s unknown if there were others injured or hospitalized after the collision.
Finally, the CHP is heading up the investigation into the cause of the fatal crash on Highway 99 in Fresno.
