2-Vehicle Crash at Shaw Avenue and 6th Street in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 8, 2021) – Andres Ramirez Orozco, 18, died in a Fresno crash at Shaw Avenue and 6th Street early Monday morning
The traffic accident happened at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 8th in northeast Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say a driver in a white car that allegedly pulled into traffic from Millbrook Avenue to turn right onto eastbound Shaw Avenue. The motorist reportedly caused the driver in a gray vehicle to veer off the roadway and crash into a tree. Furthermore, the driver in the white car failed to stop and fled the crash scene.
Sadly, the driver of the gray car identified as Andres Ramirez Orozco suffered major injuries and died at the scene of the collision.

Meanwhile, a second motorist also collided with the gray car. The second motorist, however, stopped following the collision and the driver is cooperating with police.
Finally, police are still searching for the initial driver who reportedly caused the crash and fled the scene.
