Motorcyclist Killed in Fresno Crash at Barton and Gettysburg Avenues
FRESNO, California (June 30, 2021) — A fatal Fresno motorcycle crash happened Wednesday afternoon in central Fresno.
UPDATE: Edgar Jimenez Jr., 26, of Fresno, identified as motorcyclist killed in crash.
The high-speed collision involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle rider, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Also, the deadly crash took place about 11:30 a.m. at East Gettysburg and North Barton avenues in northeast Fresno, police said.
Fatal Fresno Motorcycle Crash
Police report the motorcycle rider crashed into the side of a truck, according to the Fresno Bee. The rider suffered fatal injuries and died at the fatal Fresno motorcycle crash site.
However, it’s unknown what led to the collision as the circumstances remain under investigation.
Additionally, an ambulance transported the truck driver to the hospital to be treated for undisclosed injuries.
