Fatal Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Blackstone and Spruce Avenues

Woman, 70, Killed in Crash on Blackstone Avenue

FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2024) — A 70-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a car in a pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue near Spruce Avenue in north Fresno.

The Fresno Police Department responded to the Fresno intersection at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14th, according to ABC 30 News.

Paramedics were on scene and confirmed the woman’s death.

Investigators are working on the case and they believe the driver had the green light and that drugs and or alcohol were not a factor for the motorist.

The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
