Multi-Vehicle Fullerton Crash on 57 Freeway in Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2021) — A fatal Fullerton crash on the Orange (57) Freeway happened early Monday morning, just south of Chapman Avenue.
The deadly, multi-vehicle crash happened at 4:38 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound side of the freeway due to unknown circumstances. Police and firefighters responded and located one sedan in the No. 3 lane and a pickup truck facing the wrong way on the right shoulder and a third vehicle. There are no further details about the vehicles. One person was confirmed dead at the scene at 5:05 a.m., the CHP report said.
An investigation is underway by the CHP to determine fault for the collision.
