According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the traffic accident happened around 11:04 a.m. on April 2nd involving a pedestrian who was struck by a semi-truck.
Initial reports indicated that the pedestrian had been changing a tire on the side of the road when they were struck by the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing, and the identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
Also, the crash has caused significant delays on the highway, and authorities are urging drivers to avoid the area.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
