Fatal Traffic Accident in Fullerton
FULLERTON, Calif. (March 28, 2022) – A fatal Fullerton pedestrian accident happened early Monday morning at Chapman and North Annin avenues.
A driver fatally struck a man about 5:15 a.m. on March 28th as he was crossing a street, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Authorities closed down Chapman Avenue in both directions between Harrington and Victoria drives due to the crash.
The victim suffered major injuries and died on scene, police said. However, the person’s identity will be released after his relatives are notified.
The driver involved in the crash stopped immediately after the crash. The motorist is not suspect to be DUI and no arrests or charges were filed.
Police are conducting an investigation into what led up to the deadly crash.
So far, investigators reported the male pedestrian was crossing southbound across Chapman Avenue and the motorist was traveling westbound on
Chapman Avenue.
