
Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Fullerton Collision
FULLERTON, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2024) – A fatal Fullerton pedestrian accident happened Tuesday night at West Orangethorpe Avenue and South Basque Avenue.
The deadly crash occurred at around 6:11 p.m. at the Fullerton intersection, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
Fullerton police responded to the scene and located the male pedestrian with major traumatic injuries and called for an ambulance to take him to a hospital. However, the unidentified man died a few hours later.
Investigators reported a 53-year-old Buena Park woman driving westbound in a white Nissan Kicks struck the vehicle as he was crossing Orangethorpe Avenue. Police said the man was not in a marked crosswalk.
The Buena Park woman stopped and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.
Fullerton police did not believe drugs or alcohol were contributing factors leading to the accident on Orangethorpe Avenue.
