Man Hit by Minivan in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (July 18, 2024) – A man was struck and killed in a Garden Grove pedestrian accident last night on Brookhurst Street.
The Garden Grove Police Department responded to the crash scene around 11:16 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th in the 14300 block of Brookhurst Street, according to MyNewsLA.
A 58-year-old Santa Ana woman driving a gray 2022 Toyota Sienna reportedly struck the pedestrian in the roadway and then pulled over in a nearby parking lot, the report said.
The driver cooperated with the investigation and police do not suspect drugs and/or alcohol were factors.
Meanwhile, paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fatal Garden Grove pedestrian accident.
