Fatal Gardena Pedestrian Accident on 135th Street

Police Seek Witnesses in Fatal Gardena Pedestrian Crash

GARDENA, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2025) – A woman died in a fatal pedestrian accident Sunday on 135th Street in Gardena.

The traffic accident occurred at around 10:05 p.m. Sunday, August 31st, in the 1700 block of 135th Street, according to a spokesperson from the Gardena Police Department.

The driver of an Infiniti Q50 struck the unidentified woman and then stopped and cooperated with investigators, police said.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Gardena Police Department’s traffic bureau is heading up the investigation.
