Bicyclist Dies in Crash on Roadway North of Glendora
GLENDORA, Calif. (April 30, 2021) – A Glendora Mountain Road bicycle accident happened Friday afternoon in the Glendora area.
The incident happened just before noon on Glendora Mountain Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Investigators initially believed a vehicle struck the cyclist near mile marker 12.06, authorities said. However, there were no vehicles present so police are thought it may be a possible hit-and-run collision.
However, it was later determined the rider lost consciousness while cycling and was not involved in an auto collision.
The cyclist was later identified as Stanely Swantek, 67, of Pasadena.
