2 Men Dead; 3 Injured in Head-on Crash in Glenn County
GLENN COUNTY, Calif. (August 23, 2021) — A fatal Glenn County, head-on crash happened Monday morning on Highway 45 also known as State Route 162 at Briggs-Willows Road.
The 6:15 a.m. collision on August 23rd involved a car and a truck and both male drivers died in the wreck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The roadway was closed at Highway 45 from Highway 162 to County Road 61 after the deadly crash.

Meanwhile, authorities say there were four people inside the truck at the time of the crash. The survivors were a woman and two children ages 8-years-old and 10-years-old. They all suffered major injuries in the deadly crash, according to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

Police reopened the highway to traffic around 10:20 a.m. on Monday, Action News Now reports.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the fatal Glenn County crash and liability.
