Golf Cart Overturns at Havasu Lake Marina
HAVASU, Calif. (July 21, 2021) — A fatal golf cart crash at the Havasu Landing Marina happened on July 16th on Havasu Lake Road near Siwavaats Way.
Additionally, the golf cart overturned golf in a collision around 7:56 p.m. on Friday, July 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 responded with a medical helicopter to transport the injured man to a hospital. However, unfortunately, the 30-year-old Manhattan Beach man died at the scene about 8:22 p.m. The man was reportedly a passenger in the golf cart, but the report did not mention if anyone else was hurt.
Authorities will piece together evidence and witness statements to find out what led up to the deadly collision.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal golf cart crash. It’s unknown if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
