Pedestrian Killed in Collision in Granada Hills
GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2022) – A fatal Granada Hills pedestrian accident happened Friday morning on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway.
The collision occurred about 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 23rd near Devonshire Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded and located the victim on the freeway. Sadly, paramedics pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Authorities did not release the person’s gender, age or name.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the vehicle involved stopped and there is no description of the motorist or vehicle involved in the crash.
Police closed down three lanes of the freeway for a few hours.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
