Deadly Crash Involving Big Rig Truck
HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (August 1, 2024) — A fatal crash involving a big rig truck happened on Highway 1 and Coral Reef in Half Moon Bay, California.
The collision occurred at around 2 p.m. on August 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown how many vehicles were involved, but State Route 1 was blocked.
Police responded to State Route 1 and discovered a hazmat problem from the truck and a diesel spill as well as one person who suffered fatal injuries.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the fatal crash in Half Moon Bay.
