Fatal Hancock Park Crash Highland Avenue; Lamborghini Driver Fled
One Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision at Highland Avenue and First Street
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 31, 2025) – A woman was killed and another injured early Monday in a Hancock Park crash involving a Lamborghini at Highland Avenue and 1st Street.
The driver of the luxury sports car fled the scene on foot and abandoned the Lamborghini, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The crash happened at 1:25 a.m. on March 31st at the Hancock Park intersection, the LAPD reports.
The northbound Lamborghini was traveling on Highland when it collided with an eastbound white Toyota SUV at 1st Street. The Toyota wound up on top of a large boulder with airbags deployed. Firefighters extricated two people from the vehicle.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital in critical condition and a passenger in the vehicle described as a woman in her 30s died at the hospital. There were possibly two others in the SUV at the time of the crash, but their condition is unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, the suspect in the luxury sports car fled the scene and investigators from the LAPD’s West Traffic Division are working on the case.
