
Deadly Crash on US 395 in Lassen County
LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2025) — A fatal, head-on car accident happened Thursday morning in Johnstonville on Highway 395, just north of Waldron Lane.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:42 a.m. on Jan. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white SUV and a dark-colored pickup truck were involved. One of those vehicles also caught on fire.
A woman called 911 to report her boyfriend was involved in the crash and requested firefighters and paramedics.
Fatal Car Accident in Johnstonville
Several ambulances were sent to help those injured, but unfortunately, at least one person died following the collision.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision.
However, investigators are at the scene and working to determine fault for the Johnstonville car accident on Highway 395.
