Cameron Miles, 32, of Hesperia, Killed; One Injured
ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2024) — Cameron Miles, 32, of Hesperia, died and one person was injured in a head-on crash at 240th Street near Avenue O in the Antelope Valley.
The deadly, two-vehicle collision occurred at 5:20 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Medical Examiner.
The Hesperia man was driving a 2012 Chrysler northbound on 240th Street East when the vehicle veered into oncoming traffic just north of Avenue O, the report said.
The car crashed head-on into a southbound 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Cameron Miles suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver from the Dodge Ram was treated for minor injuries at Antelope Valley Medical Center.
Investigators are working on the case to determine what may have led to the collision.
