At Least 1 Dead after Truck with Trailer and Sedan Collide
CHP received a call about a truck towing a trailer which collided head-on with a small green sedan in the westbound lanes of the highway, just east of San Felipe Road.
The crash was reported at 1:22 p.m.
As per the dispatch, fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party sustained injuries following the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
