Fatal Head-on Crash on Domenigoni Parkway in Hemet

HEMET, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2026) — A fatal head-on crash happened overnight on Domenigoni Parkway in Hemet between Sanderson Avenue and Warren Road.

It happened around 12:13 a.m. on Sept. 10th, 2026. Two vehicles were involved, with one crossing the dirt median into oncoming traffic. The driver of a silver Infiniti QX SUV was allegedly driving impaired as they traveled westbound on eastbound Domenigoni Parkway. That driver crashed into a pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the blue Toyota Tundra pickup truck survived the crash with unknown injuries. The pickup had major front-end damage and its airbags deployed. The person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Authorities closed down the roadway for several hours to allow the Hemet Police Department to investigate the cause of the crash. Witnesses should contact Cpl. Christian Coley at (951)765-2400.
