Fatal Head-on Crash on Old Highway 395 Near Dulin Road in Fallbrook

OCEANSIDE, Calif., (Oct. 30, 2026) — A tragic head-on crash in Fallbrook resulted in a fatality early Friday morning on Old Highway 395 near Dulin Road.

The incident occurred on Oct. 30th at approximately 6:35 a.m., involving a blue Hyundai and a red Honda Civic. According to the initial reports, the vehicles collided head-on, leaving one individual trapped and unresponsive inside the blue Hyundai.

Emergency responders, including fire department personnel, were dispatched to the scene following a report of a smoking vehicle and a person potentially unconscious. The first units arrived shortly after the initial call, and efforts were made to extricate the trapped individual.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. Authorities have confirmed that at least one person has died as a result of the crash. The specifics of the injuries sustained by other involved parties have not been disclosed at this time.
