Lake Havasu Man, 30, Killed in Crash on 29 Palms Highway
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2024) — Higinio Reyes Sanchez, 30, of Lake Havasu, died in a head-on crash Sunday afternoon on Twentynine Palms Highway or State Route 62.
The traffic accident occurred around 3 p.m. on October 27th, east of Old Dale in the Sheephole Valley Wilderness. according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a white Toyota Camry sedan and a white pickup truck were involved. One person became trapped in the wreckage and Higinio Reyes Sanchez died at the scene, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Twentynine Palms Highway.
