Deadly Crash on State Route 138 in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2022) — A fatal Hesperia crash happened on State Route Highway 138 on Friday morning near Summit Post Office Road.
The deadly crash occurred about 8:44 a.m. on Jan. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report a beige 4-door Honda and a white Toyota collided in a turnout on the highway.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time between the two vehicles.
Authorities requested the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner respond at 9:37 a.m. due to at least one fatality, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine liability for the Hesperia crash on Highway 138.
