Deadly, Solo Crash Leaves One Dead, 2 Injured on Highway 137
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2021) — A fatal Highway 137 car accident happened late Sunday night near Road 68 in Tulare County.
The collision happened just before midnight on Sunday, Dec. 12th, just west of Tulare, according to ABC 30 News.
The traffic accident left one passenger dead, another with major injuries and the teen driver with minor injuries is under arrest for driving under the influence.
Driver, 16, Arrested for DUI
Police arrested the 16-year-old driver following the fatal Highway 137 car accident.
The motorist reportedly lost control of the car they were riding in on Highway 137. The vehicle went off the roadway and into an orchard where it crashed into several trees.
The names of the deceased and injured were not released.
Also, the name of the teenage driver is unknown publicly at this time.
