Hit-and-run Crash in Riverside Leaves Bicyclist Dead

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2024) — A deadly, hit-and-run bicycle accident happened Sunday night at Streeter Avenue, just north of Lantana Street in Riverside.

The traffic collision occurred just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27th, according to the Riverside Police Department.

The driver struck the bicyclist and fled the scene, police said.

Firefighters and paramedics responded and located the bicyclist with serious injuries, but unfortunately, the unidentified person died at the scene, the Riverside Police Department said.
