Woman Killed in Hit-and-run Crash in South Los Angeles

 Fatal Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident 106th Street and Avalon Boulevard SOUTH LOS ANGELES, California (October 8, 2020) – A woman was struck and killed Thursday morning by a hit-and-run motorist in South Los Angeles.

The South LA pedestrian accident was reported to the Los Angeles Police Department about 4:30 a.m., at 106th Street and Avalon Boulevard.

A woman who was walking in the area discovered the victim’s body lying in the middle of the road. The witness contacted police who believe she was a victim of a hit-and-run crash.

Unfortunately, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner has not yet identified the woman.

Police are now searching for the driver and reviewing evidence found on scene.
