
Woman Killed, Police Search for Suspect
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 3, 2023) — A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Tuesday morning at 1st Street and Westmoreland Avenue in Koreatown.
The driver of a silver 2005 Nissan Altima was heading eastbound on 1st street around 5:15 a.m. on May 2nd when they struck a female pedestrian.
The driver failed to stop and fled the scene. Meanwhile, the woman suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital where she later died.
The Los Angeles Police Department is heading up an investigation into the crime and searching for the suspect who fled.
