Police Seek Suspect in Hit-And-Run Crash
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (May 30, 2023) – A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard happened Monday morning in Huntington Beach.
The deadly crash occurred around 4 a.m. on May 29th, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
A 51-year-old Huntington Beach man was struck and killed by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard, police said. The driver involved reportedly fled the scene without stopping to help the victim.
Police responded to Beach Boulevard, just north of Knoxville Avenue and located the injured man, but sadly he died at the scene.
The Huntington Beach Police Department did not have a description of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the victim has not been identified at this time pending notification of his next of kin.
