Police Searching for Suspect in Deadly Crash
PALM DESERT, Calif. (August 10, 2023) — A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Wednesday at Country Club Drive and Barrington Drive in Palm Desert. .
The deadly collision occurred about 10:16 a.m. on August 9th, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Palm Desert Station.
Pedestrian Accident Country Club Drive
Sheriff’s deputies responded and located the victim in the eastbound lanes of Country Club Drive, but sadly the person died at the scene.
Investigators with the Palm Desert Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the location and are heading up the investigation.
Meanwhile, the identity of the pedestrian who died in the crash on Country Club Drive is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
