OROSI, California (December 13, 2016) — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of Highway 63 (Road 128) and Avenue 416 (El Monte Way), according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The male pedestrian was struck by a dark-colored vehicle whose driver sped off without stopping to provide assistance. The suspect fled on the northbound State Route 63, but left behind evidence at the scene. The vehicle is likely missing or has a broke headlight lens and the remaining one is expected to be faded by the sun.
Paramedics with the Tulare County Fire Department responded to the scene to help the victim, but he died of his injuries.
