Man, 82, Killed in Head-On Crash in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 1, 2022) – A fatal Huntington Beach crash on Pacific Coast Highway happened Tuesday afternoon just north of Goldenwest Street.
An 82-year-old Seal Beach man died in the head-on crash about 12:30 p.m. on May 31, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The motorist was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry that allegedly drifted over a raised median on PCH. The vehicle collided head-on into a 25-year-old woman driving a 2013 Volkswagen, police said.
The young woman suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded and transported her by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment, police said.
Meanwhile, paramedics tending to the Seal Beach man pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
