Man Hit by SUV and Killed in Huntington Beach

 Fatal Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident Beach Boulevard, Slater AvenueHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2022) – Fatal Huntington Beach pedestrian accident early Monday on Beach Boulevard, just north of Slater Avenue.

The collision occurred about 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 7th, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

A driver in a Jeep Compass SUV struck the 30-year-old Laguna Niguel man due to unknown circumstances in Huntington Beach.

The 50-year-old Fountain Valley man driving the Jeep northbound and hit the person in traffic lanes. He stopped and cooperated with authorities.

The name of the man who died will be released by the Orange County Sheriff Coroner.

Police do not suspect drugs and or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
