Pedestrian Killed on 405 Freeway in Inglewood
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (April 28, 2021) — A fatal Inglewood pedestrian accident happened early Wednesday on a collector road from the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway to Century Boulevard.
The fatal crash happened about 5:05 a.m. on April 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Honda Civic struck the victim in the roadway. Additionally, a white pickup truck and a white Mercedes also stopped. Police did not mention if these vehicles were also involved or if the drivers witnessed the crash.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the crash scene to help the injured pedestrian. Sadly, the person did not survive the crash.

Police issued a SigAlert on the blue at 5:28 a.m. Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and is cooperating with authorities.
Additionally, the name of the pedestrian will be released after relatives are notified.
Investigators will determine liability for the fatal Inglewood pedestrian accident.
