Multi-Vehicle Hayward Crash on I-880 Freeway
HAYWARD, Calif. (June 21, 2021) — A fatal Interstate 880 Freeway crash happened Sunday after multiple vehicles collided at the Interstate 238 interchange.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a 911 call reporting that a motorist lost control of a vehicle about 3:03 a.m. on Sunday, June 20th.

Additionally, multiple vehicles collided and one person suffered fatal injuries. The Alameda County Coroner’s office responded, however, the identity of the victim will not be released until family members are notified. Furthermore, police did not mention if the victim was male or female and have not released the person’s age.
Meanwhile, there are no further details provided in the CHP report.
Investigators will determine fault for the fatal Interstate 880 Freeway crash. Evidence and witness statements will help them come to a conclusion about liability for the collision.
