Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Hit-and-run Driver in Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (May 6, 2022) — A fatal Jurupa Valley hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened early Thursday morning on Mission Boulevard in Jurupa Valley.

The Jurupa Valley pedestrian accident occurred about 1:30 a.m. on May 5th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The collision resulted in the death of one person.

Additionally, the Sheriff’s Department found a man down in the roadway, but the driver had left the scene. The name, age and gender of the man who died is unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash and locate the motorist who fled.
