Woman Killed, Man Injured in Crash with Semi-Truck
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (July 14, 2023) — A fatal Kerman crash at South McMullin Grade and West Manning Avenue happened near Kerman in Fresno County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5 a.m. on July 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police reported a 21-year-old man was driving a Dodge sedan with his mother as a passenger when he allegedly drove through a stop sign, ABC 30 News reports.
An oncoming semi-truck struck the Dodge and the two vehicles veered off the roadway into a vineyard.
Sadly, the woman suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, her son was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver cooperated with the investigation into the fatal crash on McMullin Grade.
